What types of products fit within the skill?

There are many products throughout our range that encourage children to Discover the World. With a wide variation of suitable ages and play patterns there are lots of different ways our toys encourage developing minds.

Dolls and Figures

Dolls and Action Figures for toddlers are a great way to help children discover the world. Our Happyland range has a wide variety of figures that encourage children to play out different scenarios and explore real life situations.

Animal Toys

Animal themed toys can inspire children to want to explore the world around them. ELC Farm, Wild and Dinosaur figure sets are both great for teaching children about animals past and present and inspiring them to seek a deeper understanding of the world around them.

For taking on the go there are also the mini animal figure sets which include ocean, dinosaur, amphibian and farm themes.

Role Play Toys

Encouraging children to take part in roleplay-based play is a great way to introduce children to the world around them. We have a wide range of roleplay toys including our kids dress up range. Costumes like the ELC Police Officer costume can act as a good way to get children more interested in the world around them through acting out different characters and scenarios that they may have seen.

Discovering the Wider World

Discovering the world doesn’t have to be limited to our planet. Learning about the wider solar system that surrounds earth is a great way to spark children’s imaginations and inspire them to discover more of the world around them.

Engagement from parents can play a significant role in children getting the most out of their toys. Remember to keep interaction positive and offer gentle encouragement and praise if your child is finding something difficult.
